NFW COW - It's Vintage Baby!

For the second instalment of vintage stores, I walked up the road a little and visited 'COW' one of Nottingham's best loved vintage stores, known for its quirky reworked pieces and individual flare.

As soon as I arrived I was welcomed with a smile and the staff members were happy to answer my questions. It was clear that they had a real love for vintage fashion and the fashion scene in Nottingham, which was great to see!

Time for the Interview...
Tell me a bit about your brand.
Ramario - Cow is a vintage clothing store that sells vintage and retro clothing.

What do you like about the fashion scene in Nottingham?
Ramario  - I would say that even though the city is quite small there is still a lot of individuality, I love people that like to express themselves through fashion.

What are you looking forward to during Nottingham fashion week?
Ramario  - I am really looking forward to seeing all the trends that come about. To see what's up and coming.

What do you think is popular within your brand and what sells well here?
Ramario - Quite a lot of our reworked products, for example the Ralph Lauren men's shirts are reworked into women's two pieces or women's A-line dresses they are our biggest and best seller.

Who would you love to see in your clothing and why?
Ramario - Male- Andre 3000 from outcast I love him he's so iconic.
 Female- Rihanna because she's epic.

What do you think makes cow so popular?
Ramario - I think we have a lot of selection of products and our pricing is quite reasonable and what separates us from other vintage stores is our reworked products.

I then asked Ramario and Lynne to pick out their favourite pieces from the store. This is what they chose...

At the end of the interview I went around the store and put together an outfit, this is what I decided on...
After conducting the interview I decided that the piece I chose had to come from they're reworked collection, as it was such a big selling point of theirs. I settled on this really flattering navy blue shirt dress, that had once been a mens Ralph Lauren shirt (Crazy right?!). It was so comfortable and I feel that it could definitely be worn casually or dressed up!

Again remember to hashtag any of your NFW images with the #NottmFW
and stay tuned for my final interview with the super cool brand 'Ullr and Skade'.
So
Until next time my lovelies,
