Recently I visited the Hive Salon,
in Amblecote, Stourbridge, West Midlands to go and have my brows waxed and
tinted. I was a little apprehensive as this was the first time I had ever had
anything done to my brows (awful I know), but the stylist Georgie, made me feel
really comfortable and she talked me through everything that she intended to
do.
Firstly she talked through how to
work out what line your brows should naturally follow and exactly where the tip
of the arch should reach, she then tinted my brows with a cream that was left
on for a few minutes and the excess was taken off. After that I had them waxed,
which was a lot less painful than I thought it was going to be! My favourite
part about getting my brows done was that after the waxing and tinting, Georgie
sat with me and went through the best way to fill in my brows and the best
products and brushes to use, for me this part was so useful as I am useless at
filling them in, it normally looks like I’ve coloured them with a felt tip. Now
I know what to do, it’s great! I would thoroughly recommend this treatment to
anyone in need of a brow touch up and especially to anyone who like me who has
never done anything with their brows before. The stylist (Georgie) was super
friendly and helpful, if you haven’t already you have to go and check them out! I am so happy with how they turned out, they look so much more defined and neater, especially with the tint it makes the upkeep super simple and easy.
