For anyone that doesn't know, I am currently studying Fashion Communication and Promotion at Nottingham Trent University, and the city itself is such an amazing place to live!
For the next module of my course we have been given the task of coming up with a new idea within the Fragrance market, that could be a new perfume, candle or even a new way to distribute fragrances. So me and my flatmate decided to make the most of the nice weather and venture into town for a day of primary research and a general explore of Nottingham.
We left our flat around 11 and walked into the city centre, we visited fragrance stores such as Debenhams, Jo Malone and Molten Brown, in the hope of gathering some good quality primary research for our projects. After just over an hour we were covered in so many different scents and it took a lot of will power not to cave and buy Jo Malone's 'Wood Sage and Sea Salt' perfume!
To break the day up we then went for lunch at Wetherspoons, (if you haven't tried their chips, I highly recommend that you do!) which was lovely and looked over everything that we had gathered so far.

After this we walked up into Victoria Centre to complete our Fragrance research for the day, and on the way home treated ourselves to a milkshake from 'Cookie Shake', which was amazing, they had so many flavours to choose from, but in the end we decided on the trusty Oreo milkshake and it didn't disappoint!
All in all it was a really nice day out and being able to explore part of Nottingham is something I really want to be able to do more of, particularly as the weather gets warmer!
